13 October 2015 - The European Commission has published the new work program for 2016/2017 for Horizon2020, the EU funding program for research and innovation. The proposed budget includes nearly 16 billion EUR. The new work program includes a wide range of calls for proposals, tenders and other measures such as the "Horizon-prices" that offer funding opportunities in almost 600 subject areas.


11 September 2015 - The European Commission has already published some preliminary drafts of the next work program 2016/17. The work program contains the individual calls, inter alia, with theme, budget and deadline. Officially, the release is announced for October 13, 2015. Until then still changes may arise under certain circumstances. The documents can be found here on the European Commission website.


31 August 2015 - The global integration is for Germany as important as the European. This is also reflected in the orientation by the federal government funding policies. The proven Mittelstand support program ZIM is increasingly international in scope, also to open German SMEs access to global emerging countries and growth markets. It now offers, after several calls already made for European and non-European countries and regions, the first call for proposals for projects between Germany and Brazil on joint RTD projects of SMEs.
